Open Gym with Amy Pishner – FitPAWS Training at Valor K9 Academy
November 15, 2025 – Eagle, Idaho
Our Open Gym for Clients with Amy Pishner was an incredible success! Held on November 15th at Valor K9 Academy in Eagle, Idaho, this FitPAWS drop-in class gave our clients and their dogs a chance to enjoy a beautiful day, the best weather, and tons of fun. FitPAWS training is like a doggy gym—using professional canine fitness equipment that challenges both brain and body. It gives dogs a fantastic physical workout while also providing important mental stimulation.
We had a great turnout, with everything from small dogs to big dogs—service dogs, therapy dogs, and pets. Because this Open Gym with Amy Pishner is invitation-only for our clients, we’re able to keep the environment structured, safe, and productive for everyone. The dogs practiced confidence-building, coordination, balance, obedience, engagement, and teamwork with their handlers. And yes—every dog was happily worn out afterward!

⭐ FitPAWS Training During Our Open Gym for Clients with Amy Pishner
This drop-in class is one of our most affordable options for owners who want to get their dogs around other dogs in a controlled training setting. It’s perfect for practicing obedience, building better focus, and giving dogs a meaningful workout using FitPAWS equipment. Clients told us afterward how much they loved the session and how excited they are for the next one.

FitPAWS is fun for dogs of all sizes and ages! Benji here is a longtime client and boarding regular.
⭐ Celebrating Our Sit-Stay Champion – Service Dog Theo
Huge congratulations to our sit-stay winner, Theo the service dog, a beautiful poodle donated last year by our poodle breeder friend in Washington. Theo’s handler and his mom have completed all of his training with us, and they have done an incredible job. We’re extremely proud of their dedication—just as we’re proud of every single one of our clients who showed up, trained hard, and made this class such a fun and rewarding experience.
